On June 11, come visit me at 32 Books & Gallery (3185 Edgemont Boulevard) in North Vancouver. I’ll be at the bookstore from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

I’ve booked my first event of hiking book season!
My third book — Best Hikes and Nature Walks With Kids In and Around Southwestern British Columbia, featuring 55 new hikes — hits bookstores everywhere on May 17, 2022.
Two weeks later, I’m teaming up with the North Vancouver District Public Library and Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – British Columbia Chapter for the following free, all-ages event.

It’s time to announce my first scheduled event of the hiking book season!
On June 1, North Vancouver District Public Library hosts a double book event, Destination Hikes & Backpacking in Southwestern B.C., featuring myself and fellow guidebook author Taryn Eyton. Of course, it’ll be a virtual happening, via the magic of Zoom video conferencing.
I’ll introduce my second book, Destination Hikes In and Around Southwestern British Columbia, which features 55 new hikes. Taryn will discuss her first book, Backpacking in Southwestern British Columbia. Our books actually have the same publication date — May 11.

Due to popular demand, Mountain Equipment Co-operative (MEC) is hosting a second book signing for 105 Hikes In and Around Southwestern British Columbia. This time, the event takes place at the North Vancouver store.
Fun fact: MEC North Vancouver lies along the route described in Hike 3 — within the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Here are the details:

Our 105 Hikes In and Around Southwestern British Columbia talk at the Parkgate Library filled up more than five weeks in advance of the event.
Accordingly, the North Vancouver District Public Library has added a second event — on June 27 at the Lynn Valley Library (1277 Lynn Valley Road).
