To help you enjoy the trips and trails in Destination Hikes In and Around Southwestern British Columbia as safely as possible, I’ve teamed up with AdventureSmart to present a free webinar on hiking safety.

Event: 105 Hikes at North Vancouver’s Parkgate Library

The North Vancouver District Public Library has kindly invited me to give an evening talk about 105 Hikes In and Around Southwestern British Columbia. It takes place on June 4 at the Parkgate Library (3675 Banff Court), at the base of Mount Seymour.

Running from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., this all-ages event also features a guest presentation by AdventureSmart, a national search and rescue prevention program. Here are a few more details from the library’s event listing:
